O projektu

Hlavním zaměřením projektu TECHSCALE je návrh, realizace, charakterizace a uplatnění nové třídy materiálů připravených precizním jednoatomovým inženýrstvím založeném na pokročilých nanotechnologiích. Při řešení projektu očekáváme zásadní objevy, které posunou hranice současných nanotechnologií. Dále cílíme na celospolečensky významné aplikace v oblasti fyzikálních a chemických věd, konkrétně diagnostiky, teranostiky, chemické katalýzy a ukládání energie. Jako naprosto nový přístup v této oblasti zahrneme od počátku jako naprosto integrální součást projektu také posuzování společenských dopadů a akceptace nových technologií ze strany veřejnosti, včetně právního rámce a regulačních aspektů v souladu s pravidly zodpovědného přístupu k výzkumu a inovacím (Responbile Research and Innovation) a cíli udržitelného rozvoje. Přehled plánovaných cílů a výstupů projektu přináší následující kapitola č. 4 a detailnější popis současného stavu poznání, plánovaných cílů, milníků a výstupů, spolu s navrženými postupy je detailně uveden v kap. 11. Pro dosažení ambiciózních cílů projektu TECHSCALE a vytvoření očekávaného vědeckého, technologického, ekonomického i celospolečenského dopadu, spojily své síly tři české instituce - Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci, Vysoké učení technické v Brně a Univerzita Karlova - a sestavily mezinárodní vědecko-výzkumný tým, který pokrývá svou expertízou všechny dotčené oblasti výzkumu a zakládá tak potenciál pro dosažení vytýčených cílů.
