Výzkumná infrastruktura (VI) CEITEC Nano zajisťuje komplexní vybavení a odborné zázemí pro experimentální výzkum v oblasti nanotechnologií a nanověd.
Popis anglickyThe research infrastructure CEITEC Nano (hereinafter RI) provides complex facilities and expertise for the experimental research in the field of nanotechnology and nanoscience. The main goal of RI CEITEC Nano is to run complex RI for advanced research in the nanoscience based on the open access principle. The targeted research areas include physics and chemistry of low dimensional systems, nanoelectronics, nanophotonics, material science including condensed matter physics, chemistry and surface science, biochemistry, bioengineering and biomedicine, and engineering. The objective of RI CEITEC Nano is to provide “open” and “self-service” access in the one-site integrated clean-room facilities equipped with a complete set of tools for preparation and characterization of functional nanostructures and advanced materials to both the academic and industrial users. High standard service like friendly access RI, perfect support and service to all RI users, keeping instruments in perfect conditions are the key aspect of RI CEITEC Nano. The RI strategy is pointed at participation in the national or international partnerships and networks of research infrastructures (EUMINAfab, EuroNanoLab). The RI naturally follows the National priorities for oriented research, experimental development and innovations. The most relevant priority area is “Sustainability of energetics and material resources”, R&D targets “Advanced materials for the competitiveness, innovation and sustainability of the classical materials and use of the nanomaterials and nanotechnologies”. The other priority area followed by the RI is also “Competitive knowledge-based economy”, subareas “Application of new findings from the area of “General Purpose Technologies” and “Strengthening of sustainability of production and other economic activities”.
