Abstrakt:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na kritickou analýzu rozšíření Evropské měnové unie - Eurozóny, s důrazem na to, které ekonomiky jsou vhodní potenciální kandidáti a podmínky jejich připojení, s pro makroekonomický užitek měnové unie. Práce bere na zřetel rozlišení pohledu na Eurozónu z úrovně ekonomiky členského státu Eurozóny a EU jako celku, a také z makroekonomického pohledu globální ekonomiky. Práce má záměr sloužit jako prostředek pro ekonomické rozhodování na úrovni Evropské Unie zaměří se na racionální zvážení možností v rámci kompetencí a návrhy pro směrování do budoucna.

Splnění stanovených cílů The thesis has its aim formulated as "...to provide valuable proposals on the ongoing internationalization and integration of the European Economic Area, that are indented as framework for decision making from the point of view of European Union´s governing bodies". From my point of view, the proposals concerning the current processes of internationalization and integration efforts lack clear formulation and critical evaluation and thus the author has fulfilled the aim of the thesis just partially. C

Schopnost interpretovat dosažené výsledky a vyvozovat z nich závěry The autor has used a substantial body of literature to introduce currency union with an accent on the European Monetary Union, the advantages and disadvantages of using a common currency and the potential Eurozone candidates. However, the results of literature review do not reflect the scale and depth of the acquired information, which, from my point of view, could have been exploited more thoroughly within the process of proposal formulation and critical analysis. D
Praktická využitelnost výsledků According to the aim of the thesis, it should bring proposals that create a "framework for decision making from the point of view of European Union´s governing bodies". The author puts an accent on examples from the history and the present of common currency usage, while the critical analysis of the possible ways of Eurozone enlargement remains in the background. From my point of view, the way the proposals of the thesis are presented is not suitable so that they could be utilized in the processes specified in the aim. D
