The thermal comfort of environment is driven by the thermal exchange between particular surfaces of a structure. The aim of the experimental part of this work is to analyze all thermal aspects in the formulation of limit conditions involving thermal radiation.

Topic of doctoral thesis is development and modification of polymer protection of building structures – specialized coating. Aim of the development of above mentioned material is to obtain coating suitable for use under hydro insulation asphalt felt. Task of the thesis will be description of failures in nowadays layers and development of material with resistance to high temperature due to application technology and long durability. Important part of the thesis will be exploitation of analytic special methods for failures of hydro insulation systems on bridges.

"Doctor theses will be focused on development of advanced natural acoustic-thermal insulation boards usable mainly in building industry and on study of their physical, thermal insulation, acoustic and mechanical properties. In terms of doctor theses will made design and development of insulation boards based on easy renewable fibers (hemp, flax, reed-mace, coconut and wood) bounded with polymer BiCo fibers or natural PLA based fibers. During the work will be possibility of utilization for fire retarders based on nanotechnologies verified."

"Dissertation will address the development of material in gel consistency when using infusion orifice. These include facilitating applications, minimizing material consumption and a possible higher concentration of active ingredients. All this should allow the horizontal application of active substances, to apply it in the holes smaller than is currently common. Gel consistency while preventing undesirable discharge of the substance to any imperfections in the walls. In the event that confirmed the assumption of the possibility of using secondary raw materials, would also benefit the economic and ecological."

"The utilization of industrial wastes especially from energetic sources, as secondary raw materials, represents a long-standing ecological problem. Doctor work will be focused to study of behavior of silicate materials from point of view of heat and moisture transfer in their structure and verify the possibility of their utilization for insulating and sanitation of buildings. Under the doctor theses will be design of thermal insulating plasters with utilization for insulating and sanitation of buildings done and additionally will be study of possibility of modification of thermal technical and moisture behavior of these materials with capillary active additives.

"Nowadays, nanotechnology is commonly used in mechanical engineering or electrotechnical industry. However, this trend is new for building industry. Research focusing on possibilities of use of carbon nano-tubes modifying mictrostructure of dense cement based concrete has been launched. The thesis will focus on testing of this material with the aim of fundamental enhancement of physico-mechanical properties of cement based composite materials. "
Geopolymers are inorganic silicate binders with high durability and serviceability. The aim of this work will be preparation of various types of artificial stone with geopolymer matrix and characterization of their properties.
