Originální abstrakt

A portable arc welder with an internal LiFePO4 battery was developed and it is introduced in this paper. Used DC/DC step-down converter with synchronous rectifier (MOS-FET used instead of the free-wheel diode) is described. Also the battery pack dimensioning and its thermal design are included. The BMS circuits and charger circuits are proposed too. Some theoretical and practical information regarding the control strategy of the converter are mentioned.

Anglický abstrakt
