Taking the decision to retrofit buildings to green buildings is not an easy decision to be made. The objectives of the energy-saving buildings are known. However, the investors need to be convinced of the benefits in this type of investment. Specially, there are a lot of methods and retrofit technologies which make it hard to determine the optimal cost-effective approach.
