Prestigious engineering factory nearby Kroměříž, Czech Republic, has been using an old concrete building for production and storage purposes. To be able to exploit the ground floor better, it was required to remove two internal columns of the hall. To compensate this removal, a new concrete column in the middle of the hall was constructed. Securing of the columns on upper floors was provided by using of prestressing cables.
