The device is used to detect the dynamic behaviour of temperature sensors that are integrated into large objects (e.g. work roll of rolling mills). The characteristics are measured on the basis of a non-stationary temperature measurement when the sensor is exposed to abrupt the change of boundary conditions. The measured values are evaluated by aninverse task.
