Originální abstrakt

The article deal with a computer network switch performance testing. In the article are compared virtual switch and three switches made by well known producers - Cisco Catalyst 2960, HP ProCurve 2626 and Micronet SP608K. A comparison method was based on the RFC 2544.Virtual switch used in the comparison was a program "UML switch," which is a part of virtualization environment UML, precisely was used VNUML - extension of UML.
