Originální abstrakt

In contrast to frequently used semiconducting polymers, some of the small molecular semiconductors posses a remarkable chemical, heat, light, and weather fastness. Therefore a novel derivatives of 3,6-diphenyl-2,5-dihydropyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole-1,4-dione (thereinafter referred as DPP) was designated, synthesized and characterized. DPPs represent recent industrially important class of high-performance pigments. Some of their physical properties such as high melting points are exceptional in view of the low molecular weight relative to pigment standards.
