AVX is a key innovator in the developmentand manufacture of electronic components, especially tantalum, ceramic and integrated capacitor solutions, and is one of the leading providers of passive components for telecommunication, computer, notebook, automotive and power electronics. The latest development, introduced this year, is the OxiCapTMseries (niobium oxide capacitor). AVX maintains a prime focus on the development of new devices for power conversion modules, power supplies and other filtering applications. The OxiCapTM series is targeted at a broad range of cost-sensitive power applications in the DC-DC conversion, computing, networking and telecom markets.
