Originální abstrakt

This article shows how to write a program for data acquisition using opensource Comedi drivers. The main purpose of the code examples is to demonstrate functionality necessary for acoustic emission event recording. That is, reading many channels of the analog inputs as fast as the hardware allows while preserving precise timings and converting data to physical units. All examples are written in C language and have been tested on NI-6251 measurement card and Linux operating system (kernel-2.6.21).
