Originální abstrakt

The article summarizes the development of knowledge in the field of modeling air stream and the action of wind on building construction. The development of computer science in the second half of 20th century enabled the use of the finite element method in the field of CFD, as well. The massive growth in computer performance in the last decade has allowed numeric analysis of the interaction between the stream and the elastic body, including the effects of its deformations. The paper also describes modern approach to the FSI analysis.
