Originální abstrakt
The knowledge with the acoustic emission (AE) method utilisation at tests on contact loaded surfaces is discussed. The results proved the AE technique enables reliable recognition of running-in period, stabilised run and exact definition of origin stage of surface damage, leading to pitting. It is proposed direction of AE analyzers utilisation not only in research area, but the AE technique may be successfully used even in industrial practice.
