Originální abstrakt

Concretes based on Portland cement binder are widespread commonly used materials. This material is much appreciated for its good mechanical properties and durability. Unfortunately, when exposed to elevated temperature it starts to decompose followed by the strengths' deterioration. This behavior might be a problem especially during fire attack. Within the presented study, behavior and properties of Portland cement composites exposed to a temperature shock at 1000 and 1200 C are described.
