Abstrakt

Originální abstrakt

This study presents a novel approach to improving temperature uniformity in battery thermal management systems using a compensating foil. Designed to vary thermal resistance at the interface between a planar battery and a coolant channel, the foil minimizes surface temperature differences without increasing system thickness. Two-dimensional simulations coupled with optimization identify the optimal spatial distribution of thermal conductivity. The results demonstrate the foil’s potential for enhancing thermal uniformity in batteries and other electronic systems.
