This paper presents selected results of a comprehensive experimental-computational procedure focused on the determination of mechanical fracture parameters of concrete, irrespective of the specimen size and geometry. The methodology entails testing specimens of varying dimensions and configurations, followed by an advanced evaluation and a soft computing-based identification. In this study, mechanical fracture parameters were identified using data from three-point bending fracture tests conducted on specimens of three different sizes, each with two distinct notch depths. The identification was carried out for individual specimens, and the obtained parameters were then used in numerical simulations of the tests, which were compared with experimental results. The study analyzed the dependence of the identified parameters on specimen size and compared these findings with experimental data.
