Originální abstrakt
The reduction of emissions has become an important issue in recent years, and one of the most affected fields is the automotive industry. However, there are many ways to reduce the carbon footprint of passenger cars with internal combustion engines by reducing fuel consumption, one of which is cylinder deactivation (CDA). Despite the advantages of the technology, there are some negative effects associated with this approach. This paper focuses on mitigating torsional vibration caused by rolling CDA using electric motor in mild-hybrid powertrain. The results are obtained from multi-body simulation.
