Originální abstrakt

Text pojednává o významném umělci Ivanu Theimerovi a jeho třech stěžejních dílech, která jsou vystavena v Musée Carnavalet v Paříži. Autor popisuje historii muzea a jeho sbírky, které zahrnují artefakty od prehistorie po 20. století. V této expozici jsou prezentovány Theimerovy obelisky pro zahradní vstup do Elysejského paláce, reliéf s názvem Historie čtyř Aymonových synů umístěný na průčelí novostaveb Národního archivu a Památník Deklarace lidských práv na Martově poli. Tyto práce jsou doplněny kresbami, fotografiemi, audiovizuálním programem a modely. Text zdůrazňuje Theimerův iniciační význam v době, kdy v 80. letech dochází v Paříži k počátku regenerace městských prostorů a jejich oživení uměleckými díly.

Anglický abstrakt

The text deals with the important artist Ivan Theimer and his three key works, which are exhibited at the Musée Carnavalet in Paris. The author describes the history of the museum and its collections, which include artifacts from prehistory to the 20th century. The obelisks of Theimer for the garden entrance to the Elysee Palace, a relief entitled The History of the Four Sons of Aemon placed on the facade of the new buildings of the National Archives, and the Memorial to the Declaration of Human Rights on the Field of Mart are presented in this exhibition. These works are accompanied by drawings, photographs, audiovisual programmes and models. The text highlights Theimer's initiation at a time when urban spaces in Paris were beginning to be regenerated and enlivened with works of art in the 1980s.
