Originální abstrakt

The paper deals with frequency stability simulations. It presents twenty areas equivalent dynamic model of the Continental Europe synchronous area. The model is suitable to simulate different system splitting scenarios and assess the dynamic behaviour of the power system. The network simulator MODES is used as a simulation tool.
