The purpose of this article is to expand the current state of knowlendge int he field of venture capital in the Czech Republic over the past twenty years, which can provide both investors in the venture capital market guidance and further governments framework for appropriate targeting of venture capital market support programs. The motivation is insufficient venture capital research in the Czech Republic.
