The article focuses on modification of traditional Marching cubesalgorithm for medical applications. Main disadvantage of thetraditional algorithm is size of models. A reduction process has beenadded to the MC to produce much smaller models. The reduction processis applied during the MC, after processing of each input data layer.Resulting models are 4-5 times smaller in only doubled time.
