Originální abstrakt

Publikácia je výsledkom výskumného projektu zameraného na zmapovanie možností a nalýzu postupov pri pretváraní existujúcich nevyužívaných budov s odlišnou pôvodnou funkciou za účelom ich využitia na kreatívne, kultúrne a umelecké účely. Publikácia na príklade piatich prípadových štúdiách z Čiech a Slovenska ukazuje, vysvetľuje a detailne rozoberá možnosti prístupu ku konverziám budov na účely kultúrneho centra. Textové a grafické analýzy v publikácií sa zaoberajú najmä mierou zásahu pri adaptácií objektov na novú funkciu, aplikáciou environmentálnych opatrení, prácou s identitou priestoru, spôsobom, ako priestor podporuje komunitný život a inklúziu, financovním rekonštrukcie a jej etapizáciou.

Anglický abstrakt

The publication is the result of a research project aimed at mapping the possibilities and analysis of procedures for the transformation of existing unused buildings with a different original funtion in order to use them for creative, cultural and artistic purposes. The publication, using the example of five case studies from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, shows, explains and discusses in detail the possibilities of access to the conversion of buildings fo the purposes of the cultural center. Textual and graphic analyzes in the publication deal mainly with the degree of intervention by the adaptaion of buidings to the new function, the application of environmental measures, work with the identity of the sprace, the way how the space supports community life and inclusion, financial aspects of the reconstrucion and its phasing.
