Originální abstrakt

The article presents results of empirical research conducted on chosen global organization in the manufacturing industry, operating in serving science. The article’s objective is to examine the maturity of quality management and digital transformation in chosen organization and analyse the impact of digital transformation on organizations’ quality management. The original research design combines relevant theory and empirical study in order to answer the later mentioned research questions. The findings show that there is a high impact of digital transformation on quality management, mainly captured in digitally enabled IT systems and tools for quality management. Conclusions present insights concerning the very specific industry together with the respective theory, that are presented together with research limitations and avenues for future research.
