Originální abstrakt

Shear performance of reinforced and prestressed concrete beams have been extensively studied over the last decades, but there is still a lack of clarity e.g. with respect to the effects of normal-shear force in-teraction and the material properties on the shear performance. Therefore, it was of high interest to shed more light on the normal-shear force interaction of wide-span prestressed reinforced concrete lightweight roof ele-ments by means of innovative probabilistic numerical analyses and experimental testing. Extensive experi-mental studies on small specimens, and scaled and full scale beams have been performed in order to comply the required information for complex material laws as they are implemented in advanced probabilistic nonlin-ear numerical analyses. These tools together with advanced monitoring systems are used to investigate proba-bilistic safety levels in terms of the code based design levels and the experimental findings.
