A frequency rapid-scan is a novel method that will be (along other methods) implemented into high field electron paramagnetic resonance (HFEPR) spectrometer, that is currently developed at CEITEC BUT. The spectrometer is composed of various instruments in order to achieve required multi-functionality. All these instruments will be controlled in one complex, but still user-friendly software solution. Software architecture was design to accomplish parallel execution, interactive user interface and control of peripheral instruments simultaneously. It takes in account a possibility of future upgrade for another instrument and functionalities. First step is to implement a magnetic domain HFEPR functionality. Later a frequency domain HFEPR, the rapid-scan and an electrically detected magnetic resonance. Moreover, the software will be able to process measured data into so-called EPR maps. Combination of all these functionalities of the software with hardware capabilities of developed spectrometer, will result in powerful tool in a field of magnetic resonance research.
