This article deals with the inspection of nuclear irradiated fuel assemblies of pressurized water reactors (PWR). Fuel inspections are important for economical and safe operation of nuclear power plant. Several inspection methods are currently being developed which have their technological limits. The article gives an overview and discusses possible extensions inspection possibilities and their extension.

This article deals with the inspection of nuclear irradiated fuel assemblies of pressurized water reactors (PWR).
