The development of an automated measuring system (HW, SW) for the measurement of precise planetary and harmonics gearboxes transmission parameters for the Italian company Reggiana Ridduttori, the manufacturer of these gearboxes. The result is a unique device that allows measure all required transmission parameters with extreme precision - lost motion, hysteresis, stiffness, backlash, kinematic accuracy, position repeatability, efficiency, starting moments, maximum torques, friction, service life, etc. Gearbox ratio from 50 to 270, positioning accuracy 0.5 arcsec, maximum torque 5000 Nm, precision 0.01%.
