Originální abstrakt

The poster presents a verification and validation device for Free Space Optical (FSO) link terminal with Acquisition, Pointing and Tracking (APT) algorithm. The device consists of analog to digital converter array capable of synchronously sampling inputs and outputs of the unit implementing the APT algorithm. The samples are stored on an external storage drive, which allows to evaluate the performance of APT algorithm under development for several hours. Thanks to presented contribution, an off-line analysis of different APT algorithms is possible as well as their comparison under various atmospheric conditions. The complete and synchronous record of all inputs and outputs of implemented APT module enables to obtain its analytical model and compare it to the initial design and MATLAB simulations. It further enables to measure the response time of used MEMS Fast Steering Mirror (FSM) and to incorporate its model into the APT algorithm.
