This paper presents our work in the domain of power amplifier linearization using digital baseband predistortion. Different types of digital predistorters are presented and their complexity is briefly discussed. The effect of parameters like data converters bit resolution on predistortion performance is estimated. Finally, our first results of predistorter FPGA / DSP implementation are presented.
