Originální abstrakt

The aim of this paper is to quantify crack initiation of two types of concrete with alkali activat-ed binder. The beam specimens with stress concentrator were tested in three-point bending at the age 28 days and 90 days. Records of fracture tests in form load versus crack mouth opening displacement (P–CMOD) diagrams were evaluated using Double-K fracture model. This model allows the quantification of two different levels of the crack propagation: the initiation, which corresponds to the beginning of the stable crack growth and the level of the unstable crack propagation. The initiation of cracks during the fracture tests was also monitored by the acous-tic emission method.
