Originální abstrakt

Electrochemistry is an established tool and concept of inquiry in many science branches. At our department we use electrochemistry directly in the development and underlying fundamental research into electrochemical power sources. These include modern aspects of lithium ion cells, with focus of advanced concepts as high voltage systems, safe systems and also systems replacing lithium itself as the active material. In a separate line of inquiry another team is focused of modern aspects otherwise classical lead-acid storage battery.
