Originální abstrakt

The Acoustic Non-Destructive Testing methods, Impact-echo method as a traditional and the Acoustic Emission method as a nontraditional method for civil engineering, were used for the experiments. Cement mortar is a composite construction material which is used in civil engineering very often. However, using for monitoring developments during setting and hardening is difficult by these methods immediately after making the mixture. The main aims of the article are to show the application of Acoustic Emission method, and Impact-echo method with waveguides. The sensors were affixed to the steel cylinders (waveguides) which were installed in the concrete.
