The paper deals with the possibility of eliminating of the problem of GFRP reinforcement low modulus by prestressing. It is especially focused on the description of the behaviour of the anchoring area of the own developed anchoring element, which is based on the creation of an additional spreading area in the anchorage zone of prestressed reinforcement by casting.
