The modified compact tension test (MCT) might be in the future a stable test configuration for the evaluation of fracture-mechanics parameter or also a fatique behavior of the composites materials such the concrete is. Core drilling can be employed to obtain specimens which are cylindrical in shape with the chosen thickness.
