Software

Program slouží pro automatické ovládání rotátoru pomocí kontroléru EGIS přes rozhraní RS-232. V automatickém režimu pravidelně čte datový soubor obsahující informace o aktuálním azimutu a elevaci, jenž je výstupem predikčního programu. Soubor obsahuje informace o pozici Slunce, Měsíce a uživatelského objektu (Source), tyto lze jednotlivě zvolit jako zdroje pro rotátor. V manuálním režimu lze EGIS kontrolér ovládat přímo řídicími příkazy dle dokumentace přístroje. Přesnost nastavení úhlu natočení rotátoru lze nastavit pomocí zaokrouhlovacích konstant. Dále je možné pohodlně korigovat offset antén a využít funkci parkování. Program je všeobecně využitelný a v laboratoři experimentálních družic slouží především pro sledování umělých družic, Měsíce anebo Slunce pro komunikační a měřicí účely.

The program is intended for a control of the antenna rotator by the EGIS controller through the RS-232 interface. In an automatic setting, the program periodically reads a data file containing the information of actual azimuth and elevation of the tracked object. The file is the product of the prediction software and contains the information about the position of the Sun, Moon and user-defined object (Source); these are available sources for the rotator control. A useful option is the possibility to directly send control commands in a manual setting. The accuracy of the rotator can be set by the rounding constants. Additionally, the antenna offset can be corrected easily and the parking function can be used. The program is a useful tool and is mainly used for tracking of the communication satellites, Moon and Sun for communication and measurement purposes in the laboratory of experimental satellites.
