Selective Laser Melting (SLM) is progressive manufacturing method nowadays. The range of materials that are currently possible to process is limited by available materials in powder form and demands of research, which is needed for the process optimization of chosen material. Currently the most used materials are stainless and tool steels, titanium and aluminium alloys. Casting aluminium alloys, namely AlSi10Mg and AlSi12, are mainly used for the SLM process
