Nowadays, for sustainable development it is not enough to measure the economic performance of a company, Regular assessment and optimization of the information system is an important benefit for each company. In the present paper we deal with improving companies' information systems’ evaluation using the HOS method in the Zefis Portal. The improvement lies in heightening the evaluation accuracy of the information systems's individual components. A short illustration presents some of our current research outputs that we have obtained particularly in the security area of the information system.
