In this paper we present an analysis for the assessment of functionality of photovoltaic power plant by comparing the real photovoltaic power plant output to the grid and the calculated power output given by mathematical model and known weather condition in Czech Republic during extreme condition in winter. This assessment is important for a new owner of power plant as one of possible verification of the photovoltaic power plant functionality).
