Smart Multi-Purpose Home Gateway for Different Home Automation Services v. 1.0

The developed demonstrator handles the alarm message, smart meter and any other sensor data through selected local or remote M2M 3rd party applications or communication platforms (e.g. openHAB, IMS, SIP/SIMPLE, etc.) and acts as a universal multi-purpose enabler for different home automation and M2M services. The demonstrator is be able to run on two key platforms – openWRT and Ubuntu Linux operating system as well. Whole system is not an isolated proprietary solution, but it follows specifications and requirements defined by well-recognized standards and industry initiatives like HGI (Home Gateway Initiative), OMS (Open Metering Standard), DLMS (Device Language Message Specification), OSGi platform, etc. Moreover, the demonstrator is open for any 3rd party application or service with the goal to have them remotely manageable by the service provider within OSGi as software execution environment.
