Originální abstrakt

Some results of experimental study of the characteristics of welded joints are given in the present paper. The results and experience following from the study of real effect and failures of a major technology work, e.g. the nuclear power plant of Temelín, are mentioned too. The reliability of load-bearing structures requires their functional quality and the trouble-free operation to be warranted. The experience evaluation of accumulation of operational failures of structures, of methods of their reliable working life prolongation and prevention of breakdowns still represents an important society requirement.
