Originální abstrakt

The numerical model of the temperature field of the casting slab passing through the concasting machine is continuously confronted with experimental analyses and corrected. The investigation focuses mainly on determining the temperature in the tundish, the temperature of the walls of the mould, surface temperatures of the slab under the mould, temperatures within the tertiary cooling zone. The cooling intensity of individual cooling jets has to be conducted on an experimental laboratory device.
