Software

The library interfaces hardware (FPGA-based) components. The point is to simplify interface for the user in such systems. This interlace allows to list and identify available components and access them via their address space.

Every component can be identified by triple (vendor, name and version) to which can an application specify its address space and type of access (read and/or write).

There are two implementations:

• for embedded Linux (typically in processor on the FPGA) that utilizes dtree library.
• for COMBOv2 card FPGA components (utilizing libcombo)
