The determination of interface in multi phase systems may be important in cases when some technology should be automatically controlled. Such technology present is for example on a sewer treatment plants. Within this article the attention is focused on location of interface between soil and water. The water-soil interface was measured on three samples of soil. Those were sand and two types of loam. The Z-meter III instrument was used for measurements. The possibility of application of EIS method for determination of water-soil interface was evaluated.
