The results of the work is the development of optimization code Athena, which is used for optimizing of fuel loading pattern of nuclear reactor. With this code an analysis of long fuel cycles of VVER 440 reactor was made. New types of fuel were used - Gd2M+ and Gd2X. New efective and long fuel cycles has been find.

The results of the work is the development of optimization code Athena, which is used for optimizing of fuel loading pattern of nuclear reactor.
