One of the recently very popular keywords is a word resonant. Unlike the vast majority of the relevant articles this one covers truly resonant DC/DC converter. Despite it is the well known full bridge LLC converter, using a different control approach enables the converter to work in the zero current switching mode over the whole operating range needing no snubbers. Another uniqe feature is lowering switching frequency as the load is decreasing thus improving a low load efficiency.
