The paper provides an overview of the modernized computer exercises of Master's degree course on Computer and Communication Networks. The virtualization of lab computers with VMware Workstation is described, together with a short description of three tasks focused on TCP/IP virtual networking. Secure remote administration of virtual machine images is proposed in the conclusion.
