LTE-Advanced or 3GPP LTE Release 10 standard is the evolution of LTE Release 8, consisting of the most developed radio access technologies supporting advanced services and applications that include carrier aggregation, eight layer downlink spatial multiplexing, and four-layer uplink spatial multiplexing and so on.
