Originální abstrakt

Wood is a natural material characteristic of complex structure and texture. The parameters describing its properties include moisture content, which is determined by different methods and procedures. A large group of ever increasing popular methods is currently indirect methods among them is also electrical impedance spectrometry (EIS). This method is studied in conjunction with developed measuring apparatus consisting of a Z-meter device, measuring probes and a special user software. It has been applied with success in monitoring selected physical processes that take place in soils and rocks due to their loading with water and has been tested for other porous materials. Information about the running changes relating to a change in electrical conductivity is most often presented in the form of graphs and maps of impedance or conductivity. This paper gives an example of the results achieved in relation with the solution of the thermo-remediation of a historical building at Dolní Němčí, Czech Republic.
