Originální abstrakt

Many recent speech coding and speech synthesis systems are based on speech spectrum modeling. Also in phonetic research the formant patterns for sounds produced by various speakers with different fundamental frequencies are to be estimated and investigated. The greatest problems with reliable formant estimation are encountered in analyzing high pitched woman and child voices. Generally it can be stated that the error of the formant estimation in the speech spectrum increases with the increase of the speech fundamental frequency.
